Honeywell HC900 Hybrid Controller 

The HC900 controller offers a blend of analog process, logic and sequencing control algorithms. Features include support for more than 32 control loops (limit based on CPU memory), 1920 I/O points, compact 4, 8 or 12 I/O slot rack sizes, open Ethernet network connectivity, peer-to-peer data exchange , setpoint programmers,  setpoint schedulers with multiple ramp/soak outputs and multiple 64-step sequencers. This powerful platform, combined with a tightly integrated operator interface that supports a variety of pre-formatted displays with trending and data storage, is easily applied across many industries. Both the HC900 and the integrated operator Interface are configured using the same Windows-based hybrid control designer configuration software, which utilizes graphical function block configuration techniques and supports run-mode edit capability to help minimize process interruptions and provides advanced monitoring features.




The HC900 redundancy capability allows it to be used in applications where maximum process uptime is needed. The redundant platform provides redundant CPUs, power supplies and network communications for additional process security.

 

The HC900 hybrid controller, in tandem with the hybrid control designer PC-based software, shortens design time and simplifies control strategy development. This results in a total installed cost advantage with reduced engineering and process startup time.
