Signatrol SL55T Data Loggers Loggers

The SL51T, SL52T, SL53T and SL55T are self contained single channel, button data loggers with the ability to record up to 8,000 temperature points. Depending on model chosen, they operate over the temperature ranges of -40°C to +85°C (SL51T & SL52T), 0°C to +125°C (SL53T) or +15°C to +140°C (SL55T). The button data loggers themselves are very small (about the same size as a watch battery) which enables them to be inserted into small items and packages.

The SL50R Button Reader™ interfaces to the USB port of a PC and is totally compatible with the user friendly, TempIT-Lite operating software which enables the logger to be set up and the data read and displayed in graphical format. Data can be stored and retrieved at a later time. The software can be up-graded to TempIT-Pro which provides various additional features such as data table view, export data to spreadsheet, email graphs, and automated MKT, F0, A0 and PU calculations etc.

Each model has specific advantages: SL51T - Lowest cost, -40°C to +85°C measuring with ±1.0°C Accuracy SL52T - Larger memory and faster sample rates. ±0.5°C Accuracy SL53T - High temperature 0°C to +125°C SL55T - Highest temperature +15°C to +140°C SL55T-A - Improved accuracy of ±0.5°C from +80°C to +140°C The SL52T, SL53T, SL55T and SL55T-A also have a "start when alarm" function which inhibits data logging until the data logger has been in an alarm condition. The SL50-ACC06 is a low cost, water tight enclosure that allows the SL51T, SL52T, SL53T and SL55T data loggers to be used in more hostile environments than the standard buttons. Constructed from silicone rubber, the two part enclosure is sealed to provide greater protection in water (up to 5m) or fluid monitoring as well as aggressive chemical applications.

Signatrol SL130 High Temperature Data Logger

The SL130T temperature data logger provides an accurate, easy method of recording temperatures in harsh environments like washing machines, dishwashers, autoclaves, sterilizers or any application where the data logger is submersed in liquid. The SL130T is ideally suited for independent washer validation required under the HTM 2030 guidelines. The SL130T is housed in a robust PTFE enclosure and is fully potted to ensure no moisture ingress. The SL130T has a fast response probe protected by the PTFE case. Sample rates as low as once every two seconds are possible and the SL130T will store over 8000 readings with a typical battery life of 5 years. As the SL130T is fully encapsulated, there are no communication plugs and sockets. The data logger communicates with the computer via infra red. The end cap is removed from the data logger and it is placed on the SL120R infra red reader. The data can then be downloaded, viewed and the data logger reset ready for the next logging session.

The SL130T is designed to operate at temperature in excess of +85°C for a limited time only. The graph opposite shows an approximate time versus temperature exposure from +85°C to +140°C. You can see the SL130T is ok for 40 minutes at 90°C in stirred liquid and 60 minutes in still air. This reduces to 10 minutes in stirred liquid and 20 minutes in still air at +140°C
This graph assumes the test has been started at 25°C. You can extend the exposure time by cooling of freezing the data logger prior to use.

Signatrol Totally Sealed Hygienic Temperature Data Logger

The SL151T loggers are single channel, temperature data logggers that record the time, date and precise temperature for later retrieval and analysis. The data loggers are used in food, pharmaceutical , building management and other industries for temperature monitoring. Typical applications include food safety, where vulnerable or high value products are sensitive to incorrect environmental conditions, which in turn could cause irreparable damage to goods that might not be obvious on receipt. The data logger is sealed in a crevice free and robust plastic tag with no 'bug traps' connections or entries of any kind. The tag can be conveniently located in a packing case, on a pallet or attached directly to the product. This data logger series is particularly suited for cold chain applications to meet EN12830 for the monitoring of food produce in storage and transportation.
 
 The SL151T has a user manifest containing all the details of the application. This could be area being monitored, the vehicle registration number, the batch number or just a description of the application.The user manifest, together with alarm thresholds, are simply downloaded to the data logger by a wireless interface. The same reader retrieves the stored readings which are transferred to a suitable PC or laptop where the flexible TempIT software displays all the information in an easy to read graph, showing clearly if the consignment has been subjected to alarm conditions. The readings are stored in a form that cannot subsequently be altered or manipulated whilst the data logger also records who has read the information thereby ensuring their integrity.
 
NEW - The SL151T now incorporates a magnetic swipe start function. The data logger can be configured ready to log but left in a dormant state until a magnet is swiped down the side of the data logger.

Cost effective starter kits are available containing 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 data loggers.

The latest version of the TempIT-Pro and TempIT-HS software now automatically calculates the mean kinetic temperature ( MKT ) over the whole logged period or smaller intervals if the zoom function is used. For more details - click here

The SL7000 is a data logger that has a very flexible combination of inputs from a single temperature input up to 4 universal inputs each of which can be individually configured to accept any combination of the following input types:

All SL7000 data loggers have an internal temperature sensor and a digital input which can be used as a trigger to start logging or as a pulse counter for interfacing with flow meters or other sensors with a pulse output.

The SL940 is a robust temperature data logger available in both aluminium and stainless steel. Being totally sealed, it can be totally submersed in liquids. The SL940 will hold over 500 days temperature readings.
 

Signatrol SL1000 High performance temperature data logger family

The SL1000 series are high performance data logger with 16 bit resolution and up to twenty four channels. The channels are programmable via software and can be configured via to accept mA, mV, low level DC voltage and thermocouple sensors. There are two memory options, giving up to 500,000 readings at sample rates from once per second to once per day in one second increments. There is an eight channel variant that can perform high speed data logging, where all eight channels are scanned in 1mS. The SL1000 series can be configured to log "off-line" to it's own internal memory, or, if connected to a computer, "on-line", where the data are stored on the hard disk of the computer.

It is also possible to have external connectors wired through to the top of the case, making connection of external sensors simple, quick and easy. Almost any common connector can be used from 4mm banana sockets to dedicated thermocouple connectors.
