The Smart Wireless Gateway connects WirelessHART™ self-organizing networks with host systems and data applications. Modbus communications over RS-485 or Ethernet provide universal integration and system interoperability. The optional OPC functionality from the Gateway offers a means to connect to newer systems and applications while providing a richer set of data.
The Smart Wireless Gateway provides industry leading security, scalability, and data reliability. Layered security ensures that the network stays protected. Additional devices can be added at anytime. There is no need to configure communication paths because the Gateway manages the network automatically. Signatrol SL400 Wireless Radio Telemetry System
The SL400 system is a radio based wireless telemetry system. Ideal for retro fitting a monitoring system into an existing installation with minimum downtime and cost. The SL400 system comprises of remote radio transmitters that measure temperature, relative humidity, low differential pressure, mA or voltage signals and periodically transmits the values back to a receiving base station. The radio transmitters operate on the worldwide, license free frequency and have an output power of only 10mW which does not interfere with other sensitive electronic equipment but allows up to 1000m transmission range.
The SL400 base stations can now be supplied with Ethernet connectivity. This means that there is no longer a restriction on the distance from the transmitters to the base station. The SL400-ETHERNET base station can be connected to your existing Ethernet network in a convenient location to pick up the relevant transmissions and the data passed over your network. The software supports up to 20 base stations.
